Healty food and exersice

You hear a lot about living a healthy lifestyle, enough that the phrase 'healthy lifestyle' may be one we'd like to permanently retire. The problem is, that phrase describes the life we need to live if we want to feel good and look good. So, what does it actually mean? Well, there are the obvious things that describe a healthy person: He or she doesn't smoke, is at a healthy weight, eats healthy foods and exercises on a regular basis. It sounds so simple, it's funny just how hard it is to do all of those things in our current world.
The good news is, you don't have to change everything at the same time. In fact, the trick to healthy living is making small changes. Take more steps each day, adding fruit to your cereal, having an extra glass of water or saying no to that second helping of buttery mashed potatoes. So, what else can you be doing to live healthy? Your first order of business is to start exercising.
Exercise
One of the biggest reasons we're have a weight problem these days is because we sit around too much. We know we need to exercise, but we have so many excuses not to do it. We're too busy, don't know where to start, we're not motivated or we're afraid we'll injure ourselves or we're afraid that exercise has to be vigorous for what our bodies can handle. The truth is, everything counts and the more you move, the healthier you'll be.
It's great if you can spend time exercising - Meaning you're sweating, working in your target heart rate zone and/or doing something to strengthen your body. But it doesn't always have to be that way. Moderate activities like chores, gardening and walking can make a difference.

HEALTH AND LIFESTYLE

The fiber acts like a sponge, absorbing moisture and producing softer, bulkier stools that are easily passed. Also fiber helps produce gas, which in turn may initiate a bowel movement. Fiber reduces the risk of constipation and discomfort. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables has also been proven to reduce blood cholesterol, LDL cholesterol. An added benefit is that some fiber foods help control calorie intake, which lower my risk for obesity.
A second important change in my diet would be to lower my intake of fats. I have learned to monitor my fat consumption by reading the labels on foods more carefully , and not eating the foods that are higher in fat. This creates a greater self awareness and increases the likelihood that I will Choose fat free or low fat foods. Simple changes such as Using olive oil for baking, and a low-fat margarine can also lower my fat intake. It is also beneficial to Choose lean meats or poultry. Remove skin, and broil or bake them rather than frying. . Eating less bacon, sausages, and hot dogs and using non fat dairy products are other good methods of lower fat consumption. Lowering my intake of fats will lower my cholesterol level, and my risk for certain types of cancer. It will also Lower my risk for heart disease., atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular disease. As a woman it is particularly important for me to Increase my intake of calcium. My daily intake should be 1,200 milligrams. I can accomplish this by drinking more milk. Four cups a day will provide the amount of calcium I need. Other sources of calcium include calcium fortified orange juice, Green leafy vegetables, like broccoli, cauliflower, beans, and peas, Nuts, like sunflower seeds, and hazelnuts, Raisins. Increasing my calcium intake will reduce my risk for developing osteoporosis. This is of particular concern to me as osteoporosis is a very common disease among middle-aged to elderly women and is prevalent in my family. Calcium also helps to build stronger bones and teeth and to regulate the heartbeat. It can improve muscle contraction, blood clotting, nerve impulse transmission, , and fluid balance within cells.

I would benefit from reducing my intake of carbonated soft drinks. They can cause me to excrete extra calcium, which may result in calcium being pulled out of my bones. Drinking alot of pop may lead to kidney stones. The side effects of drinking carbonated drinks are wakefulness, insomnia, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, nausea, indigestion, mild delirium, and heartburn. Some brands of pop contain as much as 9 ½ teaspoons of sugar which is far too much to be considered part of a healthy diet. Another change I need to make is to Exercise more frequently and regularly. Exercising can reduce my risk for being overweight or obesity. This in turn can than lower my risk for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, heart disease, stroke, hypertension, gall bladder-disease, osteoarthritis, breathing problems, high blood cholesterol, pregnancy complications, menstrual irregularities, hirsutism, stress incontinence, some forms of cancer, breast cancer, getting diseases, psychological disorders, and surgical risks. Exercising will make the circulatory and respiratory systems more efficient, improve blood lipid and lipoprotein, improved bone mass, help to promotel weight loss , increase my life expectancy, increase immunity to disease, improved mental health and stress management. It is clear from this list of possible benefits that exercise is one of the most vital components to a healthy lifestyle.

HEalTh & LifEsTyLE

We're too busy, don’t know where to start, we're not motivated or we're afraid we might injured ourselves or we're afraid that exercise has to be vigorous for what our bodies can handle. The truth is, everything counts and the more you move, the healthier you'll be.
It's great if you can spend time exercising. Meaning you're doing something to strengthen your body. But it doesn't always have to be that way. Moderate activities like chores, gardening and walking can make a difference.

Just adding a little movement to your life can:
·        Reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes
·        Improve joint stability
·        Increase and improve range of movement
·        Help maintain flexibility as you age
·        Maintain bone mass
·        Prevent osteoporosis and fractures
·        Improve mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
·        Enhance self esteem
·        Improve memory in elderly people
·        Reduce stress
So, even if you opt for small changes and a more modest weight loss, you can see the benefits are still pretty good. One study has found that just a 10% weight reduction helped obese patients reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and increase longevity. In fact, you don't even have to have a goal to lose weight, especially if you have trouble stick to a program. Why not focus on being healthy to start and worry about the weight loss once you've got some healthy habits under your belt?

Simple Ways to Move Your Body
You can start the process of being healthy and weight loss now by adding a little more activity to your life. If you're not ready for a structured program, start small. Every little bit counts and it all adds up to burning more calories.
·        Turn off the TV. Once a week, turn off the TV and do something a little more physical with your family. Play games, take a walk...almost anything will be more active than sitting on the couch.
·        Walk more. Look for small ways to walk more. When you get the mail, take a walk around the block, take the dog for an extra outing each day or walk on your treadmill for 5 minutes before getting ready for work.
·        Do some chores. Shoveling snow, working in the garden, raking leaves, sweeping the floor...these kinds of activities may not be 'vigorous' exercise, but they can keep you moving while getting your house in order.
·        Pace while you talk. When you're on the phone, pace around or even do some cleaning while gabbing. This is a great way to stay moving while doing something you enjoy.
·        Be aware. Make a list of all the physical activities you do on a typical day. If you find that the bulk of your time is spent sitting, make another list of all the ways you could move more--getting up each hour to stretch or walk, walk the stairs at work, etc.
Learn about more ways to fit in exercise.
Eating Well
Eating a healthy diet is another part of the healthy lifestyle. Not only can a clean diet help with weight management, it can also improve your health and quality of life as you get older. You can use the new Myplate to determine how many calories you need and what food groups you should focus on or, if you're looking for smaller changes, you can use these tips for simple ways to change how you eat:
·        Eat more fruit. Add it to your cereal, your salads or even your dinners
·        Eat more vegetables. Add them wherever you can. A tomato on your sandwich, peppers on your pizza, or extra veggies in your pasta sauce. Keep canned or frozen veggies ready for quick snacks.
·        Switch your salad dressing. If you eat full-fat dressing, switch to something lighter and you'll automatically eat less calories.
·        Eat low-fat or fat-free dairy. Switching to skim milk or fat free yogurt is another simple way to eat less calories without having to change too much in your diet.
·        Make some substitutes. Look through your cabinets or fridge and pick 3 foods you eat every day. Write down the nutritional content and, the next time you're at the store, find lower-calorie substitutes for just those 3 items.

Creating a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to mean drastic changes. In fact, drastic changes almost always lead to failure. Making small changes in how you live each day can lead to big rewards, so figure out what you can to be healthy today.

About Lifestyle Among People In This World

Hi ! Im Syawal Danial ,
My essay is about the lifestyle, that some people believe that this is a very important to earn large extra amounts of money for their lifes , other people are satisfied with a smaller amount of money and a comforatable living . Analyze each viewpoint and take a stand . Give specific reasons for your position.

The people in the world are divided . Some are happy with a small amount of money and a compfortable living while others want to earn large extra amounts of money and become very rich. Each point has his advantages and disadvantages.
Earning a large amount of money means that you can buy whatever you want and whatever you liked and you don’t have to look for the prize. This makes you independent from everything and you can live a high life standard . You can travel wherever you want and sleep in luxury place and you don’t have to worry about your financial situation .
But normally earning such a large amount of money means a lot of work with very less free time. This means no time for friends and familiy and other activities , main part in the life is the work and work . Many people who work are famous . This means , that also in their free time they have no privateshpere and it is difficult for them to do what they really want to do whithout being recognized by others people .People who earn less money but have a comfortable life are quite often happier than people who earn a lot more . Normally they can spend more time with their friends and family and they are not that busy with their work . Also they are satisfied with small things it doesn’t have to be the big , big car, it can also be a small car and a luxury things for example.
But people who earn less money they are not free while choosing their stuff . They have to look for cheep things and can’t buy whatever they want . Sometimes this is a little difficult expecially if there are large costs of something . But as a citizen who earns less money you can live your own life and you have your privatsphere and you can do anything without being recognized .
I think earning less money can make you much more happy than earning large amounts of money . Surely it is great to live in a luxury hotel , have a luxury car and luxury things but , i think that a life with so much money is not as exciting as a life with less money . Means that you can do crazy things and anything that you want to do . You can work for a while , than quit your job and travel for a couple month . As a high standard person normally that’s not possible and they will loose their money without earning new . And also there is always the fear by the rich people , that there could happen something bad . If you don’t have so much , you can’t loose so much and this makes your life more easy .But , sometimes we get jealous with someone that can buy and have everything that we can’t . If we want what we want , we should try hardest than we do now .

LEARN , GROW , AND SUCCEED

Self improvement is a journey that anyone who wants to excel in life must take. It does not matter in what area you want to excel and progress, whether it be in your business, in your work, in your studies, in your marriage or in your spirituality.
All aspects of our lives can only truly improve if we take responsibility for their improvement. The greatest area of such improvement that will impact all other areas of our lives, is improving ourselves.
This can be at several levels:
Improving your KNOWLEDGE
Improving your SKILLS
But is it clear from this that even improving your skills first requires improving your knowledge. Therefore we can conclude that all self improvement begins with self growth in the area of our knowledge.

The mind is the thing that we must stretch in order to broaden our reality and capabilities. Without a stretched and open mind that is receptive to new ideas and information, self growth is impossibility. But with such openness and receptivity to new ideas comes great responsibility. This is because not every idea or theory is correct. Some things are wrong and some things are dangerous and can be destructive.
Therefore, we must use our judgement and discernment in deciding what ideas to accept and what ideas to reject. Accepting correct ideas and information will lead to success. Accepting wrong ideas and information can lead to failure and frustration.
Here also the circle is completed, because having such judgment and discernment requires that we first have the right knowledge by which to make such judgement and choices. So again, knowledge comes out on top.

You need to have the right knowledge in order to navigate the unpredictable terrain of life.
This section of the site and others are there to give you that right knowledge that will equip you for success in life and give you the tools you need to excel.

Additionally, why not share your won wisdom and knowledge that could be of help to others as well. It is often said that experience is the best teacher, but it does not have to be YOUR OWN experience. We can all learn from other people’s experiences, mistakes and success. That is why it is important to share what you know, because you can also learn from what others know.
Self development.

(self development) :
The story I want to share with you guys is the time I got massive big scar right across my chest. This happened on a one fine evening years earlier. At that time, I was 4 years old. I was way younger than I am now, stupid and consequences never came close to my mind. I once saw my uncle smoked in front of me. He used a lighter to light his cigarette. And by that view, I felt like trying. That’s kind of silly for a 4 years old, right? Without thinking, I simply grab the lighter he used earlier and light it up. Without prepense, the fire from the lighter started to incinerate my shirt.
In a split second, my body was covered with blazing fire. And I was afraid. Of course. I mean really afraid. Blood was oozing from my burnt skin. That was freaking hurt. Beyond all other hurt that you guys ever felt before. I felt like almost die. I was in so much pain, I cried really loud and my father, brumously ran to get me. He was wickedly surprised seeing me like that. I’m his son, obviously he’ll act like that. He quickly ripped the fiery shirt i was wearing. Next, he rushed me to a clinic nearby our house to get me treated. Unfortunately, that clinic didn’t take serious injuries that need surgeries. My father swiftly drove me to the hospital and I was placed in icu.
The doctor told my father that I needed surgery. Without wasting any precious time, he agreed. They quickly did the surgery on me and I was put in ward for a month. I still can remember my father said to me before the surgery. He said, “son, this is temporary. God loves you. That’s why He put you in this situation. You’ll be fine. I promise. I’ll wait for you.” His words really calm me. And that too, help me go through the surgery.
After that horrible surgery, I was put in observation for another two weeks. That means I can’t get back home already. I’ve to stay in that same ward again. My parents and siblings kept visiting me. Especially my father. He slept outside the ward to look after me. He didn’t leave me at all. Plenty of time. My aunts and uncles also came to see me. They brought me foods and toys. I was a kid back then, I’ll be happy to see them bringing me toys of course. It helps me to forget about the pain I was suffering from.
It took me 14 years to get over that hell of a tragedy, seriously. Since then, I never spoke about this to almost everyone. Everytime I recall about that tragedy, I’ll be very terrified. That tragedy tought me that fire isn’t something you can play with. It is very dangerous and hazardous and also cautious. To you guys out there, my advice is be careful when you’re playing with fire. Cause fire doesn’t recognize its’ prey. Sure you can call me a liar if you don’t believe me. But don’t come back to me, on your knees, regretting you disobey me. Trust me, I’ve been there folks.

Alone : The story of rebirth

Ever since I was a child, no one really appreciate me.
”Get lost !”,”I don’t need your help ,LOSER !”. Those words kept lingering in my head. They always thought that I am a burden and can’t do things right. It makes my heart hurts so much that sometimes makes me want to punch them. But someone once said to me “No matter what others might say about you, I will always trust in you,” Yes. She is my one and only mother. She was the only person that could understand through my pain and sorrow. She was the only person that I have in my life. My father died since I am six, so my mother took care since then. My father didn’t leave us any wealth since we were not really that rich. Our life were very moderate but we were happy.

My school life was very challenging. You can say it was a bit complicated. I don’t have any friends, neither a lover. I am not that good looking nor intelligent, but my mother always said that I am very good at sketching. But no one really noticed it. Some of my schoolmates always bullies me and some might also mock my drawing. But it never offended me.

One day,
“Hey kid! I want you buy me some drinks. Use your own money” said Sean a senior at my school.
“But I don’’t have any money,” I answered. The senior pissed off. The pulled me into a toilet and punched me on the stomach and kept punching. At that time, I felt like fainting. My eyes becoming blurred. Then, someone came.
“What are you kids doing ?!”said Encik Rahman the discipline teacher.
“Sean, go to you class now !”he ordered Sean. I felt relief and I fainted. Two boys came and carry me to the hospital by Encik Rahman’s car.

At the hospital I heard Encik Rahman was talking to someone through the phone.
“ He need to move to another school. It’s not safe here for him since he only have you as his mother” it was my mother! He said I have to move school?
“Why do I have to move school? I like it here” I said.
“It’s not safe for you to stay here” he replied “We cannot expel Sean because his father sponsored the school in many of our events,” he continued. Yes, Sean’s father did sponsored a lot for the school as he owned many company. I just kept quiet. I was told to stay at the hospital for three days.

“RIIIIIINGGGGG !!!”
The school bell rang. It was recess time. I sat by myself on a bench.
“Hey can is this seat taken?” a beautiful and polite girl asked me.
“No, please have a seat” I invited her”
“My name is Sakura” she introduced herself followed by me. She was in the same age as I was and one of the top ten students in our batch. It was the first time that a girl would talk to me. I felt very happy. We talked and talked until the school bell rang.

“Oh, it’s time for class. We have to move now. If you don’t mind, can we be best friends?” she said to me. At that time my heart bloomed. I smiled brightly throughout the whole day. My mother was very happy for me that I have a friend in my school.

Everyday, me and Sakura would wait for each other to go recess together and walked home together. We become best friends. One day, on our back home.
“Actually, today I want to say something to you,” Sakura said to me. As she about to talked.
“Hey kid!” I turned my back and a punched hit my face really hard. I fell to the ground.
“What’s wrong with you Sean?!” Sakura shouted. “Sean? Why is he here? And how did Sakura know him?” I was confused.
“Shut up Sakura! This time this kid is done for,” Sean said. While I was still blurred for what had happened, Sean kicked me in the stomach. He hit me non-stop until Sakura stopped him.
“That’s enough Sean. I don’t love you  and I don’t love him. We’re just friends. So please go home and leave us alone,” Sakura said to Sean. “Love?” I whispered in my heart. Sean took his bag and left.
“Are you okay? Let me take you to the hospital,” she said to me. I stood up and picked my bag.
“I’m fine, don’t worry,” I said to her and left her. At home my mother was worried and she took out the first aid and healed me. I never talked to Sakura since that day

On the school holidays, I was in my room studying for the final exam. My mother came into my room and gave me a letter. She said she don’t know who the sender was. I opened the letter and read it. I was shocked . It was from Sakura! She said she was moving to Sabah. I quickly get up from the seat and ran towards the door. When I opened the door.
“Hi,” it was Sakura. She came to my house to meet me for the last time. She was trying to tell me about her move about every time she tried to reach me, I ran away. She told me everything about her relationship with Sean and everything. We exchanged stories till dawn. The it was time for her to go. Her father came to picked her up.
“ I guess this is it then. It was fun knowing you. I learned a lot from you, so thank you” she said with the beautiful smile of hers. She looked very beautiful in the shine of the dawn. By the time she walked towards the car, she said “ I love you,” with a very slow voice. My heart bloomed. I waved and watched as the car moved further and further away from me.
“Actually it is me who earned a lot from you,” I said to myself. I walked home slowly.

At school, I tried to be friendly with everyone. As time pass by everyone became my friends. As for Sean, he was expelled because he bullied a junior until the student reported to the police. My grades were also becoming much better and without noticing it I passed SPM with flying colours. My teachers, my friends and more importantly my mother were very proud of me.
“I’m sure your late father will be very proud of you,” my mother said to me. I can’t really expressed the feelings that I felt at that time.

I was offered to continue my studies at Sabah. I felt very happy that after three years I can finally meet Sakura again. But I felt a bit sad because I have to leave my mother alone.
“Don’t worry about me, just continue your studies and become a better person,” my mother said to me before I took the flight. After two hours of flight, the first thing do after my registration was visiting to Sakura’s house.

I rang the doorbell and her mother came.
“Is Sakura home?” I asked her. Instead of answering she invited me inside. She offered me some tea.
“Actually Sakura died of cancer last year.” I was shocked. Her family moved to Sabah was actually to get her a treatment but she died during the surgery. It was very heartbreaking for me to heard the news. Her mother gave me Sakura’s diary.

I can’t stop crying when I read it. Now I know that she loved me very much and I know that she wanted me to fight for my dreams. “Why do she have to die in such a very young age” I want to shout it but it was not me to decide her fate.

As I put her diary on the table a piece of paper dropped. Something was written on it. It said

“DO YOUR BEST AND MAY YOU FIND SOMEONE WHO WOULD LOVE YOU MORE THAT I DO,”

STORY OF MY LIFE

I was born on 23 December 1996 at Hospital Kajang Selangor, I am the eldest sons of 3 siblings in my family. My father name is Nordin and he was 42 now and my mum name is Kamariah and she’s turning 40 this October. I have 3 sibling. By the way, My name is Aliff Ashraf and people call me Aliff.

I still remember those glory days when I was a little happy boy with a big dream to be a guitarist of a rock band. My first guitar is when I was 9 years old. My father taught me how to play guitar till I was 13. My first songs on guitar plucking is “Happy Birthday song”. I love music because when it hit you , you’ll feel no pain but it soothes the listener. However, I make a band with 5 person that I closed to be in my high school. We used to practice the band at the studio and shared our opinion to balance the melody in certain songs.
I got a lot more to learn in music, my father always said “Passion is the reason” if you want to do something, you do it with passion. I got full support from my parents, especially my dad. My dad gave me lot of gadget to practice my guitar skills. Every night I used to practice my guitar skills with my dad but sometimes with friends too.

Sadly, right after I  finished my school everything went wrong. I rarely practice my guitar skills. Maybe , in 2 or 3 times a weeks. Suddenly , I got a letter from college that offer me to further my study at Ipoh, Perak and that’s was my sadness news where I can’t go out with my friend as usual. Far from my loved one especially , my beloved parents because  have to live with my new family which is my dorm’s mate. Eventhough, I bring my guitar  with me until here, Ipoh but I hardly ever play my guitar. Finally, I feel very shame of myself because even in a weeks I didn’t play my guitar and I didn’t feel guilty at all. I hope one day after I graduate I will practice my guitar skill more often than before. Because since I was young I really want to be a professional guitarist and I hope to catch all my dream someday.

Never the same

forgive and forgiving

Aidilfitri is a day where every Muslims celebrate their success against their lust after thirty days of fasting. It is a day where everyone forgive and apologising for the mistakes that they’ve done to others either it is big or small mistakes. One of the traditions nowadays is many Muslims will visit their cousins, friends and neighbours house to strengthen their ukhuwah.

But everything change as the time flows by.

Nowadays the world is getting more and more advance in moving towards modernisation. But none realizes that some people are too obsess with their gadget that they forgot about the bonds that should they create doing Aidilfitri. Although some people might against this thought but they can’t see it clearly. Aidilfitri is a day where everyone shares the joy and happiness of their success besides strengthening their ukhuwah but people nowadays are too busy with their gadget. Even when visiting other people’s house, some people more enjoy surfing the internet, play video game or listen to music. Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops and other gadgets, some people just can’t get their hands of them.

Some people might say that it’s normal but it is something that we should be wise and think about it. The bond between all of us is very important not only for the Muslims but also for all the other races in the world. Let us all just put our gadgets away and talk, laugh and have fun with all the people around us. No matter who the person is, maybe someday that person will be the one that would help us in our time of need. Maybe not in person but in other kind of ways. My friend once told me “Be friendly to the world, and the whole universe will be your friend,” And those words are still kept safe in my mind.

Visiting neighbours and friends

Aidilfitri is a day where we make more friends and tighten our ukhuwah, not the day where we keep on living in solidarity. Let’s make the world a more friendly place rather than a world that advance in technology but very poor in friendship.

This is a video made by RTM as a lesson for us all. Enjoy.

My Raya Experience

Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated every year by a Muslim after a month of fasting in ramadhan. Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls in the month of Shawal in Muslim calendar. The word 'Hari Raya' mean day of celebration. Whatever it is every people have their own way to celebrate with their loved one. Everyone have their own experience right? So I want to shared about my Hari Raya aidilfitri experience.

Hari Raya Puasa is around the corner as everyone know. We can see the Muslim early prepared before celebrate. They decorate their house, buying new clothes and making many types of food and cookies for the special day. We can see that groceries, shopping mall or other shop will be crowded by the muslim. Hari Raya is a common things now because enjoyment of this raya only feel when I was a little boy. I used to back to hometown every year to celebrate our Raya Puasa with my big family. I can see the happiness between all the family member because there is so many story to tell after long time not seeing each other. My grandma have more than 20 grandchild and there so many antics especially kids when they enjoying themselves playing fire crackers. Every year , My grandparent will decorated their house with ‘ pelita ‘ and colourful lamp. For me its been found that such activities is a legacy for The house which is located far from the town like village.

First day of Raya, My mother and aunty wake up early in the morning to prepared various breakfast for all family members while other get ready with their new ‘baju melayu’ and go to the mosque for Hari Raya aidilfitri prayer. Then, all the family member gather in grandma house and ask for forgiveness and forget all the mistakes to each other. After that, we go visit all the relative house and they had give me ‘Duit Raya’ although I am no longer a child. Second day of raya morning we going to visit the grave and recite ‘Yassin’ for ‘atuk’ who have gone left us and the saddest part is I never met him. God love him more. Hari Raya is a a joyous occasion though it is celebrated by all Muslim in the world, each family have the their own way to celebrate Hari Raya.

Lastly, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is not just a celebration. It is a wake up to all Muslim to fill the day with forgiveness, forget all the mistakes, a caring spirit and colour. Furthermore, even we are in a modern generation I hope we can keep our culture of hari raya for the next generation.
